Mukarara Mukarara Mukarara

NJOROGE NGARI (Lesles) was born in Kenya East Africa. After school he joined Super Wanyika Stars and later joined the Gatanga boys where they released a number of hits together. Later he formed the Mukarara Les Les, which recorded very popular songs in Kiswahili. They are all available on CDs and you can order them online.

During the Nairobi Bombing of the UNITED STATES Embassy tragedy he released a song to console the victims and to condemn the acts of terrorist attack in Nairobi and Dar es salaam Tanzania. He also condemns tribal clashes in the Rift valley Molo, Laikipia, Ng'arua, and also Bombolulu tragedy where many girls lost their lives. Most of Njoroge Ngari songs have inspired many people, as he has always been concerned about the young generation and what people need to know about politics and advice to all citizens. However, he is not a politician but he has love for his Country and the whole world.

During the tragedy of St Kizito, he released a song, which KBC Radio station played on several occasions after News Jooni Wananchi tushikane Pamoja that even the Former President said was a patriotic song, after he performed at Gatanga boys high school in Thika and also addressed the former President, accusing the whole administration and the local politicians for their corruption grabbing and being selfish and not contributing in the development of their country but later it was charged that his music is tribal and political, e.g.; KIRUMI KIA BABA in Kikuyu language, meaning (a curse from our Late Father) and DUNIA KIGEU GEU which means the world is wishy washy, it’s up and down today this way tomorrow the other way. These songs became very popular because of the political tension at that time; it was when people were fighting for the change of section (2) A, of the constitution, to introduce multiparty politics. Kenneth Matiba and Charles Rubia were detained without trial; and people started demonstrations all over the country singing these songs the songs were banned from being played in the radio and TV stations.

We need to pray for peace and security in the whole world , we love peace not piecies. God gave us this world and wherever we step with our feet and whatever we put our hands will be blessed, we need Faith, Hope and courage.
